I liked the stuff (very helpfull), free internet access in the room, cental location.
The hotel didn't have an elevator, which is a problem with heavy bag, the bathroom wasn't very clear.

The price was really good, but having said this I would much rather have paid more and stayed at a better hotel. The beds were comfortable.
Too much noise from the street, dodgy area but there is a police station just around the corner (just in case), the bathroom door did not close, the floors were extremely dirty - full of hairs and dust - one of the guys at reception was very rude. The breakfast was very poor.

I recently stayed at this budget-friendly hotel near the Metaxourgio metro station and I must say, it was great value for money. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed, including a sink. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to two metro stations and the city center just a few stops away. The staff were friendly and the strong wifi was a big plus for me.
The breakfast offerings could have been more varied.

The woman at the reception was very friendly, very nice and helpful! She gave the best customer service for us (even looking for taxi's and scooters). Would certainly recommend this hotel. Steven De Loose (Belgium)

Book this hotel if you want convenience, quiet and super value while seeing Athens. Plus it is a beautiful building, lovely rooms, balconies, and great ceilings. I stayed a few weeks prior at Aristotels hotel near Omonia Square then had an overnight here...wish I had been at Neos the whole time. Its right near a nice, uncrowded metro station with a grocery store right there. The family who run the hotel let me use there kitchen facilities any hour to eat food I bought from supermarket- even insisited on cutting up some extra veggies for me. Free computer/ internet use. Nice breakfast and lounge area with tv and couches. Sharing the bathroom facilities right outside your room is no hassle at all and worth the huge savings.

I gotta say, the value for money at this place was spot on. The room was basic, but clean and had everything we needed. The location was pretty convenient too, just a short walk to the metro station and the main attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when we arrived super late at night. Neos Olympos gave us a great stay.
Now, if I had to nitpick, I'd say the breakfast could use a little improvement. Breakfast delights, I wish there were more options to choose from.

This hotel was only 200 meters in a straight line from a metro stop, which was great! The staff were lovely, the breakfast was sparse but just fine, there are three computers with internet to use, and the sheets were clean. No bedbugs either.
The neighborhood is a bit shady so if you are the nervous type then this is not the place for you, though walking from the metro to the hotel is pretty well lit on a main road so it would be quite difficult to get into any trouble! Though the sheets were clean, the top blankets were clearly rarely laundered and had spots on them from god knows what, that was all the blankets not just one bed (three beds in my room). It was clear that the cleaning staff made sort of minimal effort, but since my sheets and towels were clean, this didn't bother me too much for the price. One thing that was very irritating was the shower, if you can call it that... a porcelain square an inch away from two walls and 2 feet from another, and a curtain that only covered the main open side, leaving lots of opportunity for water to end up all over the floor, which of course it did. It was a huge mess.

Close to the metro (approx. 200 m)
1. Surroundings (located in the district where busses leave for Albania, Romania and other banana countries - respectively unsafe and noisy) 2. Facilities (no water in the toilet, everything very old). 3. Air conditioning (a must in Greece in summer) installed, but no remote control to turn it on:) No remote control for the tv as well.

I like the breakfast here, the building is old but very beautiful. It's only 5 mins walk from the hotel to the metro. But if you want to go to the port to take boat, you need to leave at least 1 and half hour ahead of the departuring time.
You have to transfer if you go there from the airport, it took us time to find there. There's no hot water in my room, the bed is not very comfortable, a little bit hard.
